Giving is a spiritual principle woven throughout Scripture. God's Word teaches that giving is connected to blessing (Malachi 3:8–12), generosity and reciprocity (Luke 6:38), and, perhaps most importantly, the condition of our hearts (2 Corinthians 9:7).
 

While financial gifts help support the ministry and operations of the local church, that is not the primary reason believers give. Giving is first and foremost an act of worship. It is a response to God's goodness, a demonstration of trust in His provision, and an opportunity to participate in His work in the world.
 

At Presence + Purpose Church, we encourage giving that flows from a willing heart—not out of obligation, pressure, or guilt, but from gratitude and faith. Every gift represents a partnership in the mission God has entrusted to us: helping people encounter His presence and walk in His purpose.
